Ingredients
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 and ½ pounds collard greens, chopped
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon ghee
- Salt and black pepper to the taste
Instructions
- Put some water in a pot, add salt and bring to a simmer over medium heat.
- Add greens, cover and cook for 15 minutes.
- Drain collard greens well, press out liquid and put them into a bowl.
- Heat up a pan with the oil and the ghee over medium-high heat, add collard greens, salt, pepper, and garlic.
- Stir well and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add more salt and pepper if needed, drizzle lemon juice, stir, divide between plates and serve.
